A paradigm shift is occurring in the awareness of health and treatment of dysfunction. New scientific discoveries have revealed that there is no such thing as ‘a muscle’! In fact the human body is made of a web of interconnected fibers, supporting and connecting with every other structure of the body including bones, muscles, nerves and systems. It is this network or web, that we call fascia. Fascia is alive and conforms to pressure both internally and externally. Soft tissue, or fascial, dysfunction does not show up on any scans, x-rays or MRI’s. Therefore many people suffer unnecessarily from pain and discomfort whilst their healthcare provider cannot find the source of their distress.

Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR) is a specialized therapy that can resolve body dysfunction, and chronic and acute pain. Common conditions that can be alleviated range from fibromyalgia, chronic myofascial pain syndrome (CMPS)/trigger point pain, chronic fatigue syndrome (ME), sporting and athletic injuries, repetitive strain injuries, frozen shoulder, surgical and injury scars and adhesions, whiplash, back pain, headaches, TMJ, arthritis, depression, stress and many other physical and emotional unresolved pain and tension. MFR is a whole-body hands-on therapy that creates change, resolves pain and tension, and provides results that are both measurable and functional.
