The Natural Therapy Centre is dedicated to providing solutions for health. The centre's philosophy is to encourage anyone who comes through its door to take ownership of their own health and life and to empower them by making them aware of the limitless healing resources and energy that their body, mind and soul can provide.
The Natural Therapy Centre is a myofascial release treatment centre. Myofascial release (MFR) is an advanced soft tissue approach used by healthcare professionals around the world as aprt of a treatment adn rehabilitation approach.
The Natural Therapy Centre is centrally located only 20 minutes drive north of Glasgow city centre, and south of Mugdock Castle and Country Park. The Centre can be accessed via the pedestrianised town centre high street yet is modestly tucked away in a quiet, private setting. It is conveniently located within walking distance to Milngavie train station and local bus routes. Parking is available in nearby streets and at the many free car parks around the town centre.
Milngavie, pronounced Mill Guy, is the southern end of the West Highland Way. It is a tourist town on the edge of Rob Roy country that has a regular farmers’ market as well as high street shops like Boots, Marks and Spencer food court and Costa Coffee.Due to its locale, those patients coming for intensive treatments have a choice of accommodation from nearby B&B's, and a local Premier Travel Inn, all within walking distance as well as a wealth of places to visit, eat and shop. Glasgow city centre is just 25 minutes away by a frequent direct train service providing convenient options for both public transport from the rest of the country and accommodation. The centre has three treatment rooms available to rent. One room has a sink and the two large treatment rooms open up to offer a larger workshop and group treatment space. Please see the treatment rooms for rent page for further details.

Myofascial release workshops and training - Myofascial Release workshops are relatively new to the UK. Ruth Duncan, owner of The Natural Therapy Centre, along with the rest of the clinic team present Integrated Myofascial Therapy (iMFT). iMFT is a series of advanced myofascial release workshops dedicated to fascial work for practicing therapists. The seminars allow the participants to learn valuable skills to enhance their existing work and to experience the added dimension of the mind and body complex that Myofascial Release provides.
